Support in the right lane

Real support matters.

Becoming With Purpose offers education, reflection, and encouragement. It cannot provide therapy, diagnosis, medical care, detox guidance, addiction treatment, legal advice, or emergency assistance.

Choose the kind of support you need

If there is immediate danger

Contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on a website form, social media message, or email for urgent help.

If you need immediate emotional support

Use a verified crisis service in your country or ask a trusted person to help you connect. Country-specific links will be published after verification.

If you need treatment or professional care

Consider a licensed mental health professional, physician, addiction treatment provider, or established treatment directory appropriate to your location and needs.

If peer support would help

Look for an established peer-recovery, trauma-survivor, parenting, or community support organization that explains its safeguards, privacy expectations, and facilitator qualifications.

A safety note

If changing alcohol or substance use could involve physical dependence, seek medical guidance. Abrupt withdrawal can be dangerous for some people.
